Ted Andrews is an executive search and portfolio talent leader with 10 years of experience serving private equity firms and their portfolio companies across niche manufacturing, value-added distribution, and essential services.

He founded Aureus Partners to bring a different kind of search firm to private equity — one that understands that talent decisions are investment decisions. Having worked directly inside a lower middle market PE firm building its talent function from the ground up, Ted brings an operator's lens to every engagement.

His prior experience at Korn Ferry's Industrial Practice, serving mid-market PE and Fortune 500 clients, gives him rare depth across the full spectrum of P&L and value creation roles — from the CEO to the VP of Operations to the CFO who prepares a business for exit.

At Aureus, he works exclusively within private equity — advising GPs, operating partners, and portfolio company leadership on the talent decisions that determine whether a deal creates or destroys value.
